Easy Come, Easy Go Mock Video

Daveed Diggs and Rafael Casal’s fast paced banter on Easy Come, Easy Go seemed deserving of a kinetic typography project.

The song is hard and gritty, so the style of the video had to be the same. The typefaces, light leaks, texture, and an audio waveform all achieve this well. The different kinds of motion all play into the style of the song and compliment it nicely.

Full disclosure: my computer couldn’t handle the file and it crashed 11 times… so I chose not to do the second half of the song.
