An abstract video for an abstract song.

Still Cameron came to us wanting great music videos. We immediately formed a very strong connection, and after talking for a while about this song, the vision, and the goal, we prepared a script that we felt matched the energy perfectly. It was funny, engaging, and oh-so-bizarre-o.

The video has many abstract visuals, such as picture-in-picture, snorri cam, low shutter speeds, motion graphics, crazy scenes and intentional lighting queues. It also has a powerful narrative through line that follows Cameron’s internal monologue that makes up the entire song.

Some of the advanced movements in the video were worked through prior to shooting and involved testing. We had two days of shooting and many locations, props, sets, and lighting setups.

Overall, this production was a lot of fun, and we all learned a lot as creatives. We’re all very proud of this video and glad that Cameron’s incredible vision is manifested on screen.
